3. Transfiguration.
Hermione sat next to Harry, during Transfiguration, and Ron was sitting on his other side. She hadn’t spoken to Ron since that night, and didn’t think that she would again. Hermione constantly gave Ron dirty looks, and Harry sighed from in between them.
“If you don’t sort this out soon,” Harry whispered, “I’m going to walk out of this room, and you will have to sit next to each other.”
Hermione folded her arms and did not look at Ron once during the rest of the lesson. In doing so, she missed the longing looks that Ron had given her. |
