As if having to go through the ceremony wasn't bad enough, Susanna also had to attend the reception. She entered the room alone, and slightly late, having wanted to regain her composure after the horrid experience of the thing she despised. Why did you even bother attending, Susie? You could have stayed at home, she thought to herself, as she leant against the wall away from other people. Now that she thought about it, she would rather have stayed at home, even if it meant she was on her own.
She sighed, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked for anyone she knew. Hopefully Apha would finish up whatever job she had with security soon and be able to save her from this wretched place.
