Probably nothing quite as flash or expensive as the Minister and his wife had just given each other (if it were up to Nathan anyway, Egypt may have other ideas). He didn’t really have a clue about shopping for such things and he wanted Egypt to be able to choose exactly what she wanted.

He watched the swarm of Ministry staff disperse and sighed, slumping slightly in his seat. “I suppose I better get back.” He said disappointedly. “You had better save a couple of dances for me, Lady Riddle.” He kissed the top of her head and grudgingly made a move to stand up.
