At his compliment, she smiled once more, fighting to keep a blush from appearing, though the slightest hint of pink touched her cheeks. "Why thank you for all of your compliments." She began. "And I hope that I may have the opportunity for some down time. If I do..." She smiled. "I'll find you. Perhaps we can share a dance or two." She suggested.
"You're very welcome, I'm shocked no one else has told you how lovely you look. Honestly what a bunch of fools, to not compliment you tonight." Jake said shaking his head.

Jake listened to the announcement. "I guess that's me," he shrugged. "I'd love to take you up on that offer for a dance or two later . . . erm, I mean if you're not too busy of course." Jake blushed. He couldn't believe he was getting caught up on his own words. He had been playing it so smooth up until now. "Well, you have a wonderful night now." Jake smiled, as he slowly and hesitantly began to walk away. "Perhaps I'll see you a little later then?" He asked with a hopeful gleam in his eye.
