He couldn't help but notice that the woman didn't seem very certain when she said she didn't think a gift was that important, and quite frankly, that worried him even more. "The gift shop?" Did he even have time to go to the gift shop? Pulling up his sleeve, Casper checked his watch. He was a nightmare when it came to shopping, he could never drag himself out without buying the entire store. Sigh. "How's about you just give me your gift." He chuckled nervously and nodded at the box in the woman's arms.
Heh. It was a long shot. But it was worth trying, right? Constanza couldn't help but to feel a little sorry for the man. Upset and angry, were probably the right words to describe how Clara Belle would feel if she found that someone had failed to give her, and her soon-to-be husband, a wedding gift. "Yes, the gift shop" Constanza repeated slowly and kindly to the man. He was looking slightly scared, now.
The pity she was beginning to feel for him, vanished quickly, however.
Giving him her gift? No way. She was not giving him her gift to someone she'd just met. She didn't even know his name! "Um, No, I don't think so, sir" The little smile on her lips had dissappeared but her tone of voice remained prefectly polite, "If I give you my gift, and you turn it in as yours, then what am I supposed to give to the couple?" She cocked an eyebrow at him, "Besides, It took me quite a lot of time to pick the right gift" Suuuure. If you think that ten minutes is a lot of time...
