The drizzle was becoming heavier by the second, and they soon found themselves nearly running towards their refuge. Indeed, it turned out to be a small pavilion, partially surrounded by thick bushes. Harry stepped into it; at least they were sheltered from the shower now.
"I never saw it," Ginny said, staring out into the rain that was quickly turning into a torrential downpour. "You see, that's another sign for you to play Quidditch; it's a Seeker's ability to spot this kind of thing."
"Fine, I got your point," Harry said. "I'll find a team to apply—but it won't be the Canons, that I already know."
"Ron will be heartbroken," Ginny remarked. The rain was drumming onto the wooden roof over their heads as the path gradually turned into a muddy trail, big puddles of water forming on the uneven surface.
"Now, this is an appropriate time for a Heating Charm," Harry said, taking out his wand.
"Good point." Ginny waved her wand and attempted to perform the spell on herself; but her hair was still dripping wet. "It's not working very well," she commented dryly, pointing the wand at her hair again and again.
"So you learned Heating Charms before you even came to Hogwarts?" Harry asked, lifting his eyebrow.
"Well," Ginny said, waving her wand frantically, "theoretically, yes. But when I burnt myself with a Heating Charm sometime in second year, I guess I developed a kind of phobia. I hate that spell. I'm too afraid to use it in case I burn myself again," she concluded, a loop-sided grin on her face.
Harry grinned a little and somehow, watching Ginny opposite him, soaking from head to toe, made him chuckle. She laughed a little herself, making him laugh out loud, and soon they were facing each other, unable to control themselves anymore. Ginny threw her arms around him for support as they continued laughing, barely in mind what was so funny at all. After several minutes, Harry pulled back, still laughing.
