Tammy smiled sadly, it took so little to stop all those kids going down the wrong road but so few people did it. It was a sad fact about the world. She knew how privileged she was to have the family she grew up with. She grinned as DJ said it would be ok to for her to come to their family reunion.
"I might have to take you up on that one then!" She told him.
DJ grew silent thinking about his family. His mom did have to get food stamps and they did live in government housing, but he still had it a lot better than some of his friends. his mom was home every night and there was a hot meal on the table. She made sure their homework was done and she was at every one of Daron's game. Most kids in on his block would have starved if it weren't for DJ's mom Vivian.
"Well that is good the whole city shuts down for the Joneses coming through south Dallas," He announced.
"Its a great party."
He stood up and picked up his broom,
"Aight girl, lets get back up there and play." He threw her a 5 caret smile and hopped on his broom and shot off into the sky.
