The interview with Mrs. Arbors went very well for Neville. She told him he could start the next day. "Thank you ma'am," he answered her as he put his notes and his wand back into his bookbag. "oh, excuse me ma'am may I ask you one more question?" The kindly old lady turned back towards him and smiled, "I don't have a place to stay right now, I was wondering if you knew of any?". She told him about a room she knew of at the Leaky Cauldron that was available for about a month. Neville thanked her again and headed off to check into the room.
Tom, the innkeeper of the Leaky Cauldron confirmed Mrs. Abor's information, he did indeed have a room available but, for only one month.
"That will be fine," Neville told him, "I hope to find something more permanent by then," and he paid the man a bit of the money his Grandmum left him and the two moved Neville's trunk into Room 15. "I know, I know," Neville said to his toad, Trevor, "but it'll have to do for now.
After Neville got his things together, he sat down and, pulling out a bit of parchment, he wrote a quick note to Harry. "Harry, got the job, really excited, it's everything I've dreamed of, Mrs. Arbor is a really nice old lady. I've taken a room at the Leaky Cauldron for a bit, until I find something else. You should come visit, but I know you're busy planning for the wedding. I can't wait to see you and Elizabeth. Let me know if you can stop by. See you soon, Neville"
He went down to the post office in Diagon Alley and found a willing owl and sent off the letter.
