Theme # 3: Transfiguration


I give up: I can not understand Albus, no matter how hard I try. Only last week, I stormed into his office after midnight, pink carpet slippers – yes, I admit it, they were pink – on my feet, my countenance livid.

“Albus!” I cried. “Dolores goes too far. A new decree in the middle of the night? What in the name of Merlin is this supposed to mean?”

In response, Albus looked up from his three thousand pages thick book on Transfiguration, inspected me over his half-moon spectacles, and said serenely, “I see you have bought new slippers, Minerva. How charming.”
