"Yeah I know" Kayla mumbled. "I'm actually starting to scare myself, it's just that the closer it gets to going home for summer the more apprehensive I feel. You know what I have to go home to...a dying father, a mother who hasn't got the time for me and a grandmother who's life ambition is to see me in pain" she choked. She shook her head, she refused to cry she'd been doing that too much lately.
"Even Jace has noticed it, we had our first fight today because I let my temper get the better of me. I feel like I've got the weight of the world on my shoulders and I can't get any help...that's why I lash out at everyone. It's no-one's fault, I'm just having trouble controlling it" Kayla knew that was a poor excuse but that's how things were for her right now and the future.
Krissy sighed and nodded.
"I don't know what to tell yeh lass. I'm sorry yeh are going through this, but if yeh keep pushing yeh are going to end up with no one to lean on." she looked Kayla in the eyes.
" I almost didn't come today. I don't know how long I can keep up with being treating like this by me best friend. I jest keep trying to be understanding. I know how hard it is losing a parent, and yeh have to deal with the burden of yer gran being the cause of it..." Krissy trailed off.
"I jest hope next term goes off a little easier." She mumbled.
