Especially as the look in its eyes had been so sad at the commotion. But now, she could see that the work her and the other two Ravenclaws had paid off. She rose up in the air to avoid all the other moving students, and headed over to where her boyfriend was now sat.
Dismounting her broom, Hermy walked up behind Finn and said quietly in his ear, "Or she could just go with you..." She wrapped her arms round him in a tight hug, and grinned. What a brilliant day it had been...first the quidditch, and now she could finally hug her boyfriend properly.
"How are you feeling? I'm sorry about having to hit you with that potion balloon...Vindictus' idea..." She rolled her eyes, before looking at her feet guiltily. The little penguin had looked so fearful, probably made worse by the fact she had befriended him and protected him for so long. And even though she knew Finn would forgive her, that panicked, sorrowful look would not leave her for a while.
As Barry was talking to Finn, he heard a voice that made his stomach drop. He turned in time to be pulled to a hug.
He whispered in her ear. "you hit me with a balloon?" His memories stopped when he began to swim and then just now began to register. This was one of the things he would remember.
"I suppose I'm supposed to go somewhere?" He asked her.
