“Well I must say, you make a damn good little cook there Malfoy” Ron said leaning back in his chair his eyes glinting mischievously.
“Ronald! You be nice and don’t ruin your sister’s birthday” Hermione whispered

Draco just laughed, “Yeah thanks Ron, I figured I may as well become a woman since I seem to be surrounded by them, well and Harry of course.” He gave a wink as he cleared the dishes and the girls erupted into laughter.

“So mister Potter, I do believe you owe me a birthday gift.” Ginny said with a smile as she rubbed her enormous belly.

Harry smiled and nodded. “That I do love, it should be here any minute.” and with that a knock at the door sounded. “Ah that must be David with your gift.” Harry said with a chuckle as he answered the door.

“Hello Mr. Potter, I mean Mr. Harry sir…” David said flustered “I brought you your wife’s gift.” He said in one breath.

“Oh Harry do invite the boy in!” Ginny called from the dining room
“I don’t think that is the best idea Ginny…” Hermione hissed as David entered the room.
“Oh stop Mione, it’s my birthday and I want the boy to have some cake!” Ginny said with a giggle.

“Did someone say cake?” Draco asked as he entered carrying a largely lopsided chocolate cake and placed it on the table. Noticing David sitting there Draco quickly turned on his heel and went to the kitchen. “Will that be all Mrs. Potter?” He asked in a terrible American accent in hopes of throwing off the newcomer. No one was to know he was there.

Harry placed Ginny’s gift on the table and looked to David pulling out his wand. “Do I need to do a memory wiping charm on you?” He asked menacingly.

“Umm no sir Mr. Potter sir. I uh… I didn’t see anything.” David stuttered standing quickly knocking over his chair. “I should leave…” He said twisting the sleeves of his robes between his fingers.

“If you mention ONE word of this David, it will be your life that is at stake David.” Ron said as he closed the door behind the retreating boy. Turning to his sister Ron gave her a disparaging look. “ YOU HAD to invite him to cake! Now the whole operation is at stake. Good move Gin.”

“Shove off Ron, he passed security clearance it’ll be fine. We’ll just put up some more protection charms on the house. I’m sorry Draco, are you terribly mad at me?” She yelled toward the kitchen.
Appearing in the doorway Draco gave her a grin. “How could I be mad at you? He couldn’t hurt a gnat, besides, I’m in the hands of the triumphant trio.” He chuckled as he sat. “So, you ever going to open that enormous gift your husband brought in?”

Ginny’s eyes glittered like those of a small child on Christmas morning. “Ooooh! Gimmie!”

Harry was pacing the office yet again when Ron entered the room.
“What are you doing mate?”
“Thinking, worrying…” Harry replied without looking at his best friend.
“If David were going to say anything it would have happened by now.”
“Oh no not that. I’ve already decided nothing bad will happen. I’m just freaking out. I’m going to be a father in a month. I don’t know if I’m ready…” Harry mumbled as he suddenly stopped and looked at Ron. “I’m going mad aren’t I?”
Ron laughed and smiled. “Hell mate, if I can do it anyone can.”
“But I get THREE at once!” Harry said with a wide eyed expression.

“Ooof!” Ginny grunted as she hunched over the kitchen counter. “ DRACO!!!” she shouted as she doubled over in pain.
He came running holding his shirt. He had just been getting dressed but knew something was wrong if Ginny was yelling for him. “Gin! What’s wrong?” he asked out of breath.
“Get Hermione! Get my Mum! The babies… Something is wrong.”
“But how? I can’t leave!”
“Step three feet out of the garden you’ll be able to disapparate.” She groaned as she lowered herself to the floor. She was covered in sweat. “don’t look at me like that, I need help we can’t disaparate from the property anymore and I can’t make it to the yard. Go! Harry will understand!” She panted .

Draco nodded “I’ll be right back.” With that he ran out into the yard, took steps three feet past the garden and faced the business end of a wand.
“Hello son, Mummy has been waiting for you.” Narcissa Malfoy hissed.
