Three days ago, a British tabloid claimed to interview Rupert Grint and published alleged quotes by him trashing Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, Hollywood actresses in general and even included some negative comments about his co-stars Emma Watson and Jessie Cave (aka Lavender Brown).

The Sun, was subsequently picked up by many outlets around the world and, as a result, Rupert's reps
released the following statement today:

In response to articles published this week, Rupert Grint wishes it to be known that he has never met Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton and has not nor would he make any negative comment about them as has been stated. He has also never made any negative comment about Los Angeles. He will be taking action against those parties spreading these falsehoods.
