Post Product review: Harry Potter 20Q

I recently had a chance to test out the new handheld electronic Harry Potter 20Q game by Radica. Shaped like a golden snitch, the game comes with detachable wings and a stand. It’s simple to play; all you need to do is come up with something from the Harry Potter books or films – a character, spell, creature, etc. – and the game will ask you questions to try and figure out the answer.

One thing I really like about this game is its compact size once the wings are removed (which is simple to do). You can take it anywhere as it fits easily in a backpack or bag. I took it on a recent trip to Disneyland to pass the time while standing in line – worked like a charm (no pun intended).

Another nice feature about Harry Potter 20Q is that it is simple to use with easy-to-read buttons (Yes, No, Sometimes or Unknown) so that can be easily operated by younger children, which makes it great for long trips in the car – provided it’s being controlled by someone other than the driver.

For the most part, the computerized game was able to correctly guess the Harry Potter terms I had chosen, however, there were a few times it needed to ask more than 20 questions to know what I was thinking. But I didn’t mind that as it made me feel smarter than the game.

At its reasonable price of under $20 at Amazon.com or £15 at Amazon.co.uk, Harry Potter 20Q is the perfect gift for any Harry Potter fan. If any of you have played this game, leave a comment below letting everyone know what you thought of it.

And keep your eyes peeled, as we here at SnitchSeeker will soon be offering up one of these cool games as a contest prize ...
