Working on her homework, Andromeda Black half slapped her forehead in frustration. “This is going nowhere,” she told Sirius unhappily, seated next to him by the considerably cold water of the lake.

“Why?” Sirius asked, curious to see what she had messed up this time, and pulling the parchment she was working on closer to himself. “Ancient Runes was never your strong subject, was it?” he asked, looking up from the ink-splattered piece of work with a faint smile.

Andromeda shook her head. “Nope. I wouldn’t get it if it chased me all over the grounds wearing your Quidditch robes.”
