“Sirius Black, I hate you!”

Nicola Redwood’s fury seemed to break like a storm that had waited in the wings of merry weather for days on end.

“Nic –”

“I don’t want to hear another word, alright?”

“Nic –”

“If you love Andromeda Black so much –”

“Nic, please, she’s just my cousin.”

Nicola’s eyes narrowed. “I know that, Sirius. And I know exactly what you two do together in those walks of yours. I’m over you, I hate you. You’re past even detestable.”

Sirius’s temper boiled over. “Your loss, Nicola,” he said coolly, walking off, hands tucked in pockets.
