 Yeahhh, Mr White! Yeah science!
He scratched his head uncomfortably as she asked if he was ok. “Yeah.” He replied, “I’m fine.” Maybe he was nervous about Egypt spending time around muggles. He should have waited until the weekend to show her the best of London, not this dive. What on earth would she think of him? Telling her he enjoyed spending time in here of all places?
She looked a little in awkward in the muggle clothing, but Nathan liked it. Although he wouldn’t be bothered if she’d turned up in a bin bag. She would look good in anything to him. “I like the jeans.” He said, having a good look. They kinda matched a bit more now – looked more like a couple.
He raised his eyebrows as she said she would have what he was drinking, “Alright.” He replied, not sure whether he was doing the right thing just going along with her request. “I’ll be back in a minute.” He wandered over to the bar and ordered two more pints and two firewhiskeys and a cloth to clean up the mess he’d made. What a damn waste of perfectly good whiskey. He ruturned to the table placing the drinks in front of Egypt and realised immediately that he’d done the wrong thing. He didn’t want to get her drunk. He proceeded to mop up the mess before returning the cloth to the bar and sitting down opposite Egypt again. He took a sip of his pint, watching her closely. This was such a bad idea. “Have you ever had alcohol?” He asked sheepishly, knowing fine well what the answer would be. “You don't have to drink those." he pointed out, not taking his eyes off her.
