"Ask mum," Bellatrix replied, not looking up from the book she was reading towards the half-open window, where her sister stood, detaching the morning's newspaper from an owl's leg.

"You can at least speak to me like I'm your sister, and not your Godforsaken house-elf," Narcissa hissed.

Bellatrix raised an eyebrow. "You surprise me with your childishness, Cissy. When will you grow up?"

Ever since she had fought with Lucius the other day, it had become a habit for her to quarrel with everyone without reason. Without responding, Narcissa left the room.
