I watched as the house elf ran out.
"I think you offended him, B" I said testingly. Kira was looking at me, quiet shocked.
"You can't offend a house elf" She said "Their job is to serve man". I went to reply, but there was a snap and my mother appeared infront of us, with her bags.
"Oh, good, you got here safely" She smiled seeing us, as Ron and Tonks walked in behind us, having controlled the portrait. "Er, kids run upstairs and find your rooms" She pestered. We stepped out the door, but Kira leant against it.
"Kira! What she wants to talk to them about it none of our-" I stopped as we could hear Ginny's voice.
"Don't worry Hermione, Stevie will get here safely"
"Let's hope so" She said in a quick, hushed voice. "Mc Gonagall just owled me, they have sent some ministry official's! How helpful will they be if they come across dementors or death eaters or Draco!"
"Don't panic yourself!" Ron said in a calming voice.
"Come on!" I said, grabbing both Kira and B by their collars and pulling them from the door "Knowledge leads to power, power leads to corruption"
