A small note in Jude's handwriting was left above the signatures reading: On his way out of the cafeteria and making his was towards the lifts; Nathaniel glanced up at the imposing fountain and shuddered inwardly. That thing gave him the creeps – it’s subject matter was utterly offensive. He couldn't quite believe that the Ministry still had this monstrosity of a monument proudly displayed within it's walls.
His attention was suddenly taken by a poster floating above the fountain. The message echoed Nathan’s own thoughts exactly. He stood for a moment and read the petition, before promptly signing his name. He didn’t particularly care that it was still only his first day here and may get into trouble. For Nathaniel, morals were much more important than a steady job. The repressing of muggles, and promotion of so-called wizard supremacy was something he was very much opposed to. Someone had had a lot of guts to put that petition there, and Nathan had great admiration for whoever it was.
