Lola politely nodded. Her mind wandered as it often does to somewhere else. She closed her eyes and imagined she were on a beach, in the hot sun. "That would be nice," she murmured to herself. She dragged her mind back to reality.
"Where is everyone?" Lola asked aloud. She knew this wasn't a high priority office, but to be ignored altogether? She frowned. "I think I'm heading to the break room, nothing's going on here. Let me know if someone else shows up, OK Chiara?" Lola replied, slightly annoyed with the lack of work to do. |
