Even though Lorraine was writing intently, she was listening to and absorbed every word that Micah was telling her. She made a face and for the second time, looked up at him with a somewhat contorted expression. "So Micah, well that's interesting. Do you speak Korean, then?" she asked curiously. It would come in quite useful when she needed to contact people at level five - silly international people, preferring to use other languages.
Lorraine glanced over at the newcomer and breathed a sigh of relief, when this one pronounced her name correctly. "Well of course you, Amanda. It is a pleasure to see your bright, cheerful face at this time in the morning. You may call me Lorraine though," she said, glancing at two of her division heads. "Amanda, this is Micah - Division Head for Apparition Test Center. Micah, this is Amanda - Division head for Broom Regulatory Control."
"Now that we're all acquainted, is there anything you would like to ask of me before we get down to business?" she asked, figuring it was the best way to break the ice so they wouldn't be so nervous.
