Her polished wood desk was surrounded by magical plants; a large bookcase behind her desk was filled to bursting with everything from One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi to a Muggle encyclopedia. She settled herself behind her desk and began shuffling through her papers; she'd of course left her desk in a right state the previous evening.
