Cora closed her eyes tight. He was seventeen. and engaged. SHE was seventeen, just. Blimey. Would she be engaged soon? Urgggh. She didn't want to think about it.

She nodded slowly. "Yeah...fine." Fine? Fine? She felt physically sick. For some reason, she felt guilty that he was throwing his life away so soon. There were so many other people out there! And he was choosing now.
