Cassandra was smug, not only had she hit the boy, but now he seemed covered in fur. She remembered her first year when the Gryffidor girl sent a similar spell to the charms professor, and tried to blame Nikolai Vannacutt for it...
In the distraction of the memory, his spell hit her. Cassandra's tongue seemed glued to the roof of her mouth. Drat! She did not know how to perform non verbal spells quite yet. It was her sixth year... she needed to learn.
She knew the theory behind it, so she thought hard for her easiest spell
