Fortress of Brilliance ღ Mommy Quad

Again, Emmylyne was bending down beside the toddler whom still refused to move or be touched. After five failed attempts at quieting her screaming, and picking her up, she had no other choice but to silence her with a charm. "Calm down," She insisted, composedly standing and lifted her daughter but was still unable to hold her, Laih kept trying to lay back down when she tried.

"This is NOT your fault, you knew as much as I did and I should have known more. This is my fault and my fault alone," Emmylyne said firmly, her tone showing the patiences she was losing as the minutes went on. Started it before you? Rightfully yours?! OH if looks could kill, both men would be dead. Drop to the floor suddenly dead.

Deep deep down she knew he meant no harm in saying that, he was only trying to fix things and do things the way he would, sacrifice his own happiness. But short-tempered Emmy, did not care what it was meant like, it sounded like she was something to be owned. And she did NOT like that. Rather then saying anything at all, Emmylyne scolded herself for not trying to 'fix' her child.

Holding her by the hand, Emmy swallowed hard; breathing deeply and held it for a second or two in hopes of not being phyiscally sick (for that feeling had come back as well, if it had ever left) and calming down. This wasn't good for any of them, and the children were always the first thing on her mind. Naturally. "Lainie..no more screaming, talk to Mommy," She spoke in a hushed sweet voice, removing the charm that held her daughers voice at mute.

Lainie was still crying, hard, tears poured from her hazel red-coated eyes at a quick speed. As if she had broken a bone, and was in severe pain. This admittedly, scared Emmy to death because her toddler had no broken bones and wasn't sick as far as she knew or could see.

It was obvious she could speak again, because her silent cries weren't so silent anymore. She wailed, water flowing like mini-rivers down trail's that traced her bright red cheeks. "I-I...I-" She stutted, upset. Choking on a sob, finally the child had allowed herself to be held by Emmy. Gripping her favorite stuffed animal, Laih's hysteric state was slowing down and she was becoming tranquil almost. In the proper direction, atleast. This..oddly was only after her young mother had calmed down, too. "I..I..I-" Being hushed by her Mommy, Laih took a deep shaking breath, "I can't, no mission no mowe I..I can't Wemmy." The little one spoke into Casa, cuddling into her mother.
