Ben chuckled at Finn. "Thanks mate." he said. He could see the glow in his eyes as Elissa walked in with his child. The baby was a beauty. "He does look like his father." he said with a smile as the little hair that Ashton had was pitch black hair.
On hearing that his wife and Jenny wernt talking he frowned. He wondered what was going on there. Opening his mouth to ask her about it, he closed it back up pretty quickly. He could ask her later. Maybe Jenny had taken it hard. He would make sure to owl her first, after Emmylyne had him all fixed up that is.
He then heard Chole was engaged. "Congrats!" he said. His head was then moved back as Emmy pulled a yellow paste. He screwed his face up in disgust. "Ahh your going to put that on my face? I already let you make me drink that tasteless potion. And I didnt spit it out." he asked her giving her puppy dog eyes, trying not to break out in a grin. He let her put it on his face anyways, but realized he had control over both eyes again. He blinked a couple of times, just to make sure. It felt good able to be able to see again with both eyes. Glad that Emmy was a healer in training, he let her go back to work.
Benji smiled as he listened to Emmy talk about Laine. From the sound of it Laine was doing pretty well growing up without him all this time. He was glad in a way. Happy that she was strong enough to be herself without her father. But she wouldnt have to be without him anymore. He was here to be in her life. He was tired of risking his life everyday. Maybe it was time to retire...
"Oh Nik is stopping by? I felt like I havent seen him in the longest time." he chuckled. He hadnt seen anybody in a long time, obviously, but he hadnt seen Nik even longer. Nik had been on a trip in Romania right before he went on his mission. So it was months before he had seen him before he disappeared.
He nodded as Elissa said she felt way better. He was glad that she made a perfect recovery. "Im glad to hear that you are ok Eli. And for me, well, something like that." he said. It had been a little worse than a bulldozer, but he was great now. And happy than ever.
