Hogwarts RPG Name: Alexander James Wright First Year | Elder Quad "Very true Ems," Axel said quietly. True, he did not want to stir anything more in their pot of emotional soup. He was already going through an emotional roller coaster as it was. He then nodded at Ben. "I never knew it'd be this hard. I mean, I knew my dad went through hell, but I never thought about how hard it was until I experienced it," he mused. He loved his job, but he hated that he had to risk his life every single day. Vee made it a point to let him know how much she hated it. "Heh, only about a month. Maybe less. But I'm sure Ash'll be out on the field as soon as he starts walking." Finn was truly insane. And to think if he had a girl. She would wrap him around her finger. He was a softie when it came to his wife, she he could only imagine how he would be if he had a little girl.
His stomach was churning and he could hardly look at Emmylyne or Ben. It was literally making him sick. He felt terrible. He had finally found his soul mate and he felt she was about to be taken away, again. He felt like he was slowly dying inside and no one could hear his cries for help. His hand instinctively found his hairline, pulling roughly as he grabbed a large patch of the shaggy brown mess.
Yes, he was glad that Ben was alive and somewhat well, but he felt he would be pushed back into the hole he had come out of. Stealing a glance at Finn, he saw that his cousin had been looking at him with worried eyes. If anyone could read him better than anyone else, it was Finn. And Axel knew he'd have to talk to him later, and possibly Chloe as well. "Oh yeah Ben, ya look great," Finn said sarcastically. Their group was finally back together. Maybe not whole, but they were back together. And hey, he even had his sister. Walking over to the redhead, he bent down and gave her a kiss on the cheek as he placed both hands on either one of her shoulders. Her reaction to seeing Benji had been...priceless. Then again, that's who she was: unique. And Hannah was following closely in her footsteps. "Speak of the devil!" he exclaimed as his wife walked in with their beautiful child. He led her over to Ben so he could see his beautiful baby boy. "Ashton Chase, meet Ben. He's not dead, no matter 'ow much ya migh' think he is," he chuckled. "Hey wha's this?" He picked up the green jersey Chloe had bought for his little boy. "Only one person would go to this much trouble to get this. CJ, ya shouldn't 'ave!" He embraced his eldest sister and chuckled as he placed the jersey back in the blue bag. Chloe shook her head in amazement as she stared at Benji. Was he really here? She was so happy that everyone was back together. But then another thought crossed her mind. Axel had married Emmy. Did Benji have any idea? Oh poor Ax. Wha's gonna 'appen now? All of these thoughts passed through her mind as she looked from Axel, to Ben, and to her own brother. "Oh 'ello Finn," she giggled. "I couldn't resist mate. It was too adorable to pass up. Saw it at a sport shop in Romania. You're known worldwide lil bro," she praised, wrapping her arms around his waist. "Oh, an' I was jus' tellin' Eli, I'm engaged!" she squealed, holding up her left hand which held a ring with a pear shaped diamond on her third finger. She was absolutely glowing with delight.
Finn was dumbfounded. Both hands went into his jet black hair as he tried to comprehend what Chloe had said. "You're...engaged?" Wow. "Congrats!" He wrapped his arms around his sister and picked her up, spinning her around. "When do I get to meet him?" Placing her down on the ground, his twilight blue eyes met her honey ones. "He betta' be treatin' ya righ'," he warned. Axel smiled and gave Chloe a kiss on the cheek after she announced her great news. At least someone in the family is happy, he thought. This only made his spirits dive deeper. Yes, he was happy for his cousin, but it only made him go into a deeper state of depression. Oh yes, speaking of Lainie, where was she? Chloe gave Finn a smirk as he placed her back down on the ground. "His name is Gavin Watkins. He's Welsh an' is workin' with me an' Nikolas in Romania. If ya wanna know more then talk to Nik. He'll give ya the lowdown," she said with a wink. Even though she was the oldest in their family, her brothers were always overprotective of her. "Thanks Ax," she smiled as he congratulated her, even though she knew he was hurting inside. "Good, good," Finnegan said, still sounding a bit skeptical. "Ems, does Nik plan on...droppin' by anytime soon?" he asked, not very nonchalantly. It was obvious he wanted to know how well this man was treating his sister. Yes, she was two years older than him, but he still acted as if she was Hannah's age. Axel sat down at the kitchen table and watched as everyone reconciled their relationships with one another. All he could think of was his situation. Everyone seemed to be in a blur as his sea green eyes scanned all of the happy faces: all but one was happy. Emmy seemed to be going through the same thing as he was, but he had no idea how much pain she was actually going through. She had to choose, while all Axel had to do was wait. Even though that sounded like an easy thing, it was the worst possible position he wanted to be in. He felt like the other man, the man that split up a family.
