Technically technical all the time Bookaholic Snape smirked as he watched Darrin cowering in pain. The screams giving him immense pleasure which would have bothered him if he had been in another state of mind. But as it was, Snape was feeling nothing but rage and his need for vengeance was all that was driving him now. He wanted to see this man suffer before he killed him.
His moment of satisfaction was quickly snatched away as he felt himself flung backward, his body and head cracking as he hit the hard stone wall. He had miraculously managed to maintain a grip on his wand, although his curse was broken as he lost concentration. Snape could feel the blood oozing from the back of his head and from his nose. But when he tried to move his hand to wipe the blood from his face, he realized that he had been pinned to the wall. Unable to move, he fixed Darrin with a rageful sneer and growled in frustration. He didn't even hear that Marcella had awoken, so intent was he on giving Darrin what he deserved.
