Chandan swallowed his emotional difficulties and smiled slightly.

"Right then!" Chand tried to create the illusion that his enthusiastic demeanor was completely in tune with confidence and totally true--this probably failed as he inclined his head towards the Dance floor and pulled at his jacket nervously. There he was, looking like a disco ball, and probably about to make a fool of himself--and he was still looking like a geek as he tried to smile in a... Comforting, was it?, way.

"I'll, uh, start, uhm... Walking towards the Dance Floor!" Chandan managed to smile a little, hopefully in a reassuring way, and began to walk towards the Dance Floor.

Laylee was still blushing as she followed him onto the dance floor. She smiled at him in a way that, she hoped, was comforting to him.
She set the thought in her mind that this was just a friendly gesture and the two were, infact, just friends. Laylee still hardly knew him, he probably thought this was casual; but Laylee was shaking and she couldnt help it.
She tried to calm herself as her right foot stepped out on the dance floor. She looked around at all the couples dancing, some close together, and some looked like they were having fun just dancing.
Laylee did know how to dance, but she had never danced with a boy in her life! Well, unless you count her father, but that was different...
