Clifford tugged at the hem of his muggle shirt grumpily. Sure, he sometimes liked wearing muggle clothes but these smart muggle clothes were weird. His shirt was buttoned right to the top and was almost chocking him, and his shoes were far too shiny for his liking. He had even attempted to put on one of those tie things, but had nearly strangled himself trying to tie it up so it hung undone around his neck. Maybe someone here could help him.
He didn’t want to come to this weird Hoppy Socky thing anyway; there was no way he was dancing, especially not in front of anyone. There was only one thing he was here for and it wasn’t to make a fool of himself. Apparently there was a buffet, and there was no way he was giving up the chance to pig out. So here he was. A little uncomfortable but hungry.
As he approached the buffet table, ready for a full on feast he spotted Bella and Evangeline, looking pretty hilarious in their own muggle outfits. He put a hand over his mouth to hide a snicker and poured himself a chocolate malt. “You two look – erm..” Hilarious.. “Nice.”
