Xana shrugged, and her cloak slipped a bit, coming off her bare shoulder. She blushed and adjusted her cloak back into place. "Hard to know what to tell... I've been to virtually every co-ed and girls' wizarding school on the planet, but none of them seem to work out for me. I guess I'm just... an iconoclast? Yes, that'll do as a description. Dia and I have been friends forever, it seems, since we were both very very small. In fact, the fact that she's here is what convinced my guardians to send me here. I guess they think she'll be an... influence on me. " She smirked a little, her eyes flashing darkly.

"But so far Hogwarts hasn't been a very welcoming place for me... nearly everywhere I go, people have been very difficult, and Cassandra has been the worst sort-- day one she attacked me on a lark, and since then she's been turning people against me." She shrugged again. "It's nice to know that there are nice people here after all. "

"But enough about me... what are your favorite subjects? Do you enjoy being in Slytherin house? "
