"Who's your little friend?" she asked with a measure of disdain. "Well-- no matter, no matter... If I could have a word with you, when you get a moment?" She tipped a slight, false smile at Dia's friend, trying to be polite and yet still indicate that she wanted to speak to Diabolica privately. She was terrible at diplomacy, she knew, but at least she could pretend.

"I need help-- and you're the only one I can trust."

Rapunzel blinked and stopped laughing when a rather serious Slytherin strolled right up to Diabolica. Odd. Rapunzel inclined her head towards the girl and raised an eyebrow right back at her. She seemed.....so....critical....hmm.

And then they left and had something "urgent" to discuss in the toffee section. Fine. Rapunzel stood back by the door, tapping her foot, and then recalled that Diabolica had known all along who she was talking about. That made her smile again, and she was still smiling when Josh Monsoon wandered into the shop once more.
