Holiday Stories Part 3

After the first week back, James asked Lily while they ate dinner in the Great Hall, "What did you do during the holidays?" Lily looked at him and answered, "I'm still not talking to you."
"Why?"
"Did you apologize to a certain somebody?"
James sighed, "Alright, I'm sorry for what I did."
"Not me!" Lily snapped, "I'm talking about Severus Snape!"
"In your dreams!" said James, "Why would I apologize to that?"
"Him! Him, as in he's a boy, Potter."
James snorted and said, "Barely." Lily glared at James, picked up her bag, and walked out of the Great Hall. Keely, who was sitting across Lily, grabbed her bag and got up, "When are you going to learn to grow up?" she asked him angrily and without waiting for an answer, she ran out of the Great Hall after Lily.
"What is it with those two?" James said to Sirius who was sitting on his right.
"Girls are crazy." said Sirius.
"Or maybe Keely's right." said a quiet voice coming from in front of James. He and Sirius looked up and saw a black girl with dark brown eyes. She wasn't looking at them, she seemed to have been more interested in her salad than James and Sirius.
"Who are you?" asked Sirius
The girl looked up and said, "My name's Meg Huff. I know who you two are." she looked at Sirius and said, "You're Sirius Black and you're-" she looked at James, "James Potter."
"How'd you know that?" asked James
"Lily and Keely have told me all about you." Meg answered
"Well, not to sound rude or anything," said Sirius, though he was sounding rude anyway, "but-" but Meg cut him off
"Then you better stop while you're ahead, then." And with that, Meg picked up her bag, got up and left the Great Hall. James and Sirius exchanged looks and James said, "You're right, girls are crazy."
"Yeah. Hey, maybe we should get busy with our homework, so we're not behind, you know?"

The common room was almost completly empty except for James, Sirius, and Lily. James and Sirius were doing their homework by the fire while Lily was reading Hogwarts, A History at a table far away from James and Sirius. But ten o'clock, Lily finally closed her book and carried her bag to the Girls' Dormitory. James was watching her leave when he noticed that she left something on the table. He got up from the armchair he was sitting on and went over to the table Lily was sitting at to see what she left behind; it was a small book. He picked it up and turned it over to read the cover; Lily Evans' Diary He walked over to Sirius and said, "Look what Evans left behind." he handed the diary to Sirius whose eyes went wide when he saw the title of it.
"I wonder what it says." said James
"James, I know what you're thinking, but it's wrong to read Evan's diary" said Sirius seriously()
"Yeah, you're right." James sighed, "We shouldn't read it."
"I didn't say that." said Sirius as he put an evil grin on his face which James returned.
