My Silver keg
A silver keg beneath the stones,
Oh how I guard it so!
To never let anyone though,
my little silver door.
And my heart,
never lost and never owned.
But somehow you came across my keg,
casting the stones outside of me.
I closed my eyes in fear and dread,
fearing it will never come back again.
You took my heart and soul,
and somehow guided me out of fear within.
Replacing it with love and care,
giving me hope to share.
A Chance
How can you tell what love is,
if you never held it in your gasp?
Love is precious (sp?),
and changing ever so fast,
So open up your heart,
and don't close your eyes,
because a chance might pass you by.
And remember one more thing,
don't be afraid to try again,
because love can come once again. |
