Jay finally stumbled into the common room. "Blasted changing staircases." she mumbled and plopped down on the couch and took a deep breath. "I wonder where Alicia is?" Jay thought, "haven't seen her in ages!" she shrugged her shoulders and took Toby (African tree frog) out of her bookbag.
"You better not run off again!" Jay scolded him remembering how embarrassing it was running around the Hogwarts Express looking for a frog. "I won't come get you!" Toby responded with a ribert and a hop. Jay laughed and shook her head.
She put Toby back in his cage. Jay pulled a book out of her bookbag. She began to fell at home again. "This is a gunna be the best year yet." Jay thought smiling to her herself.
