Sam walked into the common room to see somebody she recgonized. A smile burst onto the second year's face and she walked over to the girl.
"Hi Lexi!" she said and sat down in the chair next to her. A single piece of her reddish brown hair fell onto her face and she brushed it away. Letting go of the kitten in her arms, she redid her ponytail. After all the hair was out of her face, she noticed the puppy on Alexis' lap.
"You have a puppy! How cute!" She said and pet the small dog behind the ear. The puppy was really soft and she let out a giggle as the dog's whiskers tickled her fingers.
