 38 – Patronus
“I can’t do it. I can’t think of a thought happy enough,” Neville groaned to Harry in the Room of Requirement.
“Of course you can, Neville,” Harry encouraged, showing him the wand movement. “Here, you can practice with Luna.”
Luna had accomplished the Patronus charm a few weeks ago. Smiling at Neville, she clasped his wand hand and went through the movement with him. “Try it now, and say it with confidence.”
Neville thought hard about the first time he’d met Luna. Happiness about her friendship welled inside him, and he felt like maybe—just maybe—he could do it.
