Hello faithful readers! And New readers! :waves: Sorry that this has taken so long. I have written Ginny's vows dozens of times and none of them seemed adequate. My life has been a daze of wedding planning and regular life drama. I will try to post the next chapter within a week's time. Hopefully sooner. Thank you all for the patience. Just a word to the wise, you may want to have a tissue ready for this one!

Harry gazed at Ginny lovingly. She was so gorgeous in her satin gown. His heart swelled with love, and recognition of the commitment they were making to one another.

“Harry and Ginny have written their own vows in honor of Harry’s Muggle upbringing.” The minister nodded toward Harry.

“Ginny, today I not only take you as my wife, I give you myself as your husband. I am so blessed to be marrying such an intelligent, strong and loving woman. We have watched each other grow from children to adults. You have stood by my side through war and suffering. You have sacrificed so many tears of worry over my well being. You have stayed strong, and fought alongside me. Not just for the greater good, but for “us”. You knew that you loved me long before I realized we belong together. I guess it’s true that women mature faster.”

The crowd giggled and Hermione smiled broadly at Ron and winked as if to say “See? I told you so.”

“Ginny, I could make you dozens of cliché promises. Telling you that I will love you and be devoted to you for the rest of my life, but that isn’t true. I will love you for all of eternity. I will worship you for your eternal patience. I will do my best to make you as happy as you could ever be. We will have problems, and we will fight, but Ginny, my dearest love, we will always be together. We will always make it. I would lay down my life for you a million times to insure you never shed another tear. So here is my vow, I promise to give you all that I am.” Harry choked slightly on his last words. Tears were falling freely from his eyes as he gave his very soul to Ginny.

The minister nodded toward Ginny. Clearing her throat and brushing the tears from her eyes she began; “Harry, you always have been a hard act to follow.” the guests all laughed. Ginny began again. “Harry, there are no words that adequately express my love and devotion to you. Countless times you have risked life and limb to protect my family and me. There is nothing I can do that will ever compare to that. All I know is that there is nothing in this world that will ever make me stop loving you. I have loved you from the moment we met at King’s Crossing. I have dreamed of this day since I was merely ten years old. There have been many times when I thought I lost you, not only in love, but in life. I shed tears of worry, and pain. I feared that I would have to continue in a world without you. But know this, for every tear I shed, you have given me thousands of happy moments.

Love, and relationships are not only about the good times, but also about the struggle. I know now, that you were not my journey, but my destination. Harry, I promise you here and now, in front of everyone we know and love; I will do everything in my power to make you happy not only in our marriage, but in your life. I will cry a thousand tears, if it will bring you home safely. I will hold you every night and thank the heavens that I have been blessed with you another day. I give you myself, heart, body and soul. I love you Harry James Potter.”

Sniffles were heard throughout the crowd. Even Ron had tears running down his face as he handed the rings to the minister.
“Repeat after me, “Take this ring as a symbol of my love. It has no beginning and no end. Though the shine may fade, it will never tarnish.” Harry repeated the vow first, then Ginny. Both of them stared deeply into each others eyes. Hundreds of people sat in the room, but to Harry and Ginny, they were completely alone.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I am very proud to present Mr. Harry and Mrs. Ginny Potter! Harry, you may kiss your bride.”

As Harry wrapped his arms around Ginny’s waist she wrapped her arms around his neck and they shared their very first kiss as Husband and Wife.
