He turned his head to James and saluted his friend, with a facial expression, and hopes that he would wish him good luck. Turning on the spot he walked towards her, almost nervously shoving his hands into his pockets. "Hey Victoria." He said softly, trying to be smooth.

Nearly jumping a foot into the air, Victoria turned to face Sirius and James. She had not heard them approach her at all. She cleared her throat and hoped she did not look the way she felt: nervous. "Oh, hello, Sirius," she said quietly. Then, wanting to get it over and done with, added, "Yes, I would love to go with you." Her hands, too, were in her pockets, one clutching the letter for dear life.
