*Sirius was saved by the end of dinner. He had remained remarkably quiet throughout the whole thing. He just wasn't sure yet of his views on the whole Pure-Blood thing. He knew what he had been taught...but..he just didn't know now.
He got up and motioned for Remus and James, and even the new kid, Peter to follow him. Andromeda was calling all the first years to her. Sirius looked at Andromeda as hope. She wasn't exactly the family favorite, but they hadn't completely shafted her. He caught her eye and she gave him a wink, then pulled him to the front of the line. She whispered in his ear for him to stand up front..then he can pick the best bed. Sirius smiled up at her then followed her up to the Gryffindor Tower. Sirius's new home.* |
