I am glad that you liked what the people turned into!! When I wrote it, I tried to create something that showed how that character made me feel.

I wanted Hermione and Harry to be extraordinary. Being a metamorphic animagus is important because it can allow Harry to blend in, hide, and escape better. For Hermione, she is an extraordinary which, and so I wanted to give her something unique, something that no one else has.

Neville, when I think of him, I think of the color grey/blue. I am not sure why, but I always have. I wanted him to be a cat also, because I think Neville is also very unique and I wanted to relate him to how closely tied he and Harry are, and how close he was to becoming Voldemort's victim or the boy who lived. I wanted to show that he is alike in many ways.

For Luna, I see her as something beautiful and fleating in personality. Beautiful to look at but hard to put your finger on exactly. I still feel that her character wasn't done enough justice in the last book. My initial thought was to do a butterfly, but #1 I didn't want her to be a bug like Rita skeeter, and #2 I didn't want anyone else to have a flying ability besides Hermione.

To me Ginny is the fierciest character in the book, she loves with her all, she fights with her all and she is loyal and brave with all of her ability. When I think of Ginny I see the color Orange, and I thought a lioness would be perfect for her.

Draco to be honest has been tainted for me. I spent the longest on him and all I could see when I thought of him was a white ferret. I really tired to get away from that, but unfortunately, he was stubborn and that is all he wanted to be.

Ron was a hard one also, truth be told, it was a while before I could see him as anything but a rat, and I had almost decided just to go with it although I wasn't happy about it. I started writing with every intention of making him a rat (scabbers) but out typed a dog, and I was so surprised that I changed the paragraph. So when Ron opens his mouth to say something and out comes this bark and he turned into a dog, so too did her "pop" out when I started writing
