"Hmm," Gavin looked thoughtful about the scaredy-cat answer. "The only way to cure fear is to face it," Gavin told Kia, smirking. "But you wouldn't do that 'cause you're not brave, right?"

"OWLS?" Gavin repeated then frowned. "Study? Me? No," he put it simply. "I just got here, how would I know about these OWLS?"
