Valencia walked into the house, immediately being met by Savannah. She hugged her back and smiled. "Hey! This is my little brother Dusty," the newly turned fifteen year old said, motioning to her brother.
"Nice to meet you," Dusty said politely, taking Savannah's hand a kissing it. The twelve year old grinned. He was always a gentleman. "Thanks for inviting us," he added.
Valencia put her bags down in the hallway, her brother mimicking her. The two both had a bag and a guitar case. Both cases looked slightly different because of the different shapes.
Vee grabbed Dusty's hand and followed Savannah, making sure to leave the doorway wide open. She smiled at everyone in the room, but felt very strange seeing as she knew no one. "Hi," she said. "I'm Valencia and this is my brother Dusty," she introduced them. Hopefully this will be a good summer, she thought.
Dusty followed apprehensively. He didn't know anyone and was very nervous. He could tell his sister felt the same way. The only person she knew was Savannah. He smiled at everyone in the room then stood very close to Valencia. This better be a good summer, he thought. |
