Technically technical all the time Bookaholic Fudge had his eyes narrowed as Marcella gave her testimony. He stood up next to Lupin, who looked at him in surprise. "Why did you hesitate? I don't believe you are being entirely truthful, Miss..."
Fudge was cut short by another throat clearing by Dumbledore. "I believe Mr. Lupin has the floor at the present time, Minister. You will have your chance to question the witness once he is through."
He reluctantly backed down as Lupin turned back to his witness. He smiled at her before continuing. He wasn't entirely prepared for his next line of questioning as it was Dumbledore who had insisted on Marcella being a witness in the first place. And, true to his nature, Dumbledore had failed to mention exactly why he wanted her to be a witness. "So, it is safe to say that you probably aren't the best person to be speaking to concerning the events directly preceding and after the cursing?" Lupin continued before receiving an answer. "Was there anything in Mr. Fletcher's actions in the days leading up to the day you fell ill which would have led Professor Snape to believe the man meant you harm?"
