"Uh... who are you?" Erin asked, looking at the boy again. Surely he would question her skin. I mean, it was green. Erin tried to smile as if she looked perfectly normal.

Nicolas grinned again and extended his hand. "I am Nicolas. Jolie's step brother." He told her and that is when he noticed she had green skin. A little unusual, really. He was about to ask how her skin became green, but he decided not to. Some times, his excitement could be misread and it might even sound rude.
