Missing You

We were always together
Fitted as one
We did everything together
No matter what it was

I didn’t care what it was
As long as I knew
That you were seated by my side
To hold and comfort me

I never knew how much
I would be missing you
That was until
The day that you left

It hit me hard and straight on
And tore me to shreds
And shattered my heart
To a million pieces

I will be missing you
For now and ever
I never should have let you go
And now all I can do is miss you
