Hey! Alright, so I know I just posted a chapter… but I’m super bored today, so I decided to just write another one. Now, let me explain… this chapter may seem stupid to some people, and possibly short, but it has to happen. And you’ll see why. Oh, and also, this fan fic, which has been going on for longer than a year now, is coming to a close soon. *tear* I know… but it has to end at some point, right? Well, I hope you like it…

Tears were rapidly falling down my face as I was held by my hair and a wand was pointing threateningly at my throat. The feel of Voldemort around me made me shudder. I hated being so near to this evil piece of scum! Plus, his hands were like ice around me, causing me to almost faint in the shock of it all.

Soon, however, Harry was standing in the doorway, and my tears continued down my cheeks. No… go away, Harry! Save yourself! Please!

As Voldemort spoke, my eyes were on Harry, and his were on mine. I could see, from the short distance between us, that he was scared as well. He was tempted to give himself up to Voldemort, just to save me… I knew he was thinking it.

“Let her go! Take me instead!” Harry yelled, his wand pointing at Voldemort, even though it looked like it was pointing at me.

Voldemort sneered. “Oh, I plan to, but for now… I shall take care of your loved one, Potter!”

Then, without notice, a beam of red light was shot at me, and I dropped to the floor, motionless.

Hermione

“No!” Harry screamed, as Ginny hit the floor with a thud. I began to cry at the sight of it. After all, Ginny’s my best friend. Ron was still under the Invisibility Cloak, but he let out a soft shout of protest as well.

“Stay where you are,” I muttered, so that only Ron could hear. “He’ll need you, later on,” I added, referring to Harry. Voldemort didn’t know that Ron was with us, and it would be to our advantage later.

Voldemort laughed a high pitched, evil laugh, and turned towards Harry. Then, his wand was pointed towards me. “You won’t need your little Mudblood sidekick either, Potter,” he said firmly, and with another beam of light, I was hit as well.

I was pushed back into the air, and dropped to the ground, the last thing I could hear was Ron’s shout of “Hermione!”
