"What to do with you.." Snape paced around me slowly, smirking. I knew he was angry. He was cleverly hiding it by thinking of how to punish me.
"I wouldn't punish as badly if it wasn't another Slytherin. Why not a Gryffindor? Alice?"
I just looked up at him innocently. "I didn't mean to do it" I muttered quietly, fidgeting in my seat. Snape walked back to behind his desk and rested his hands on it.
"You brutuly attacked a fellow student, Alice. Of course you meant to do it. I told Dumbledore it was a bad idea to let a vampire in the school, but like always, he gave you a chance. Just like he does with Potter." Suddenly, the portrait behind Snape, which was just an empty frame before, had an old man that looked the age of Dumbledore appeared.
"Dumbledore would like you and Alice to report to his office, Severus" The portrait said sternly.
"Come on, I'm not letting you get away with this" Snape glared at me.
We walked out of the dungeons and across the school, to Dumbledore's office.
"Ah. Severus, Miss Moore" Dumbledore said, in a freindly tone. I smiled slightly and sat in the chair Dumbledore indicated, with a warm smile. He didn't seem the slightest bit angry at me, not like Snape was.
"Miss Moore, I was sure this would happen. And unfortunatly it did. Seeing as though your mother said it hasn't happened in a very long time" I looked down at my hands, I was picking my nails.
"She said 'She didn't mean to do it' how pathetic, professor. Of course she meant to do it! Attacked a student! Hoinestly, didn't you realise you could of exposed what you are" He spat at me, still glaring.
"But she didn't. You chased the student into the forbidden forest. Am I correct?"
"Yes"
"And who found you?" He asked, still calmer. Much calmer than Snape was.
"Madame Pomfrey. She was wlaking throught the foyer when she saw me go chase after the..student" I said, not knowing if they knew who the 'student' was.
"Well, seen as though I'm the head of your house. I choos the punishment!" Snape declared, emphasizing on the word 'I'.
"You're going to expell me aren't you" I muttuered, my head still looking down.
"It's possible. It depends on how the victim feels about it, really. She was the one you inflicted pain on"
"It wasn't that much!" I yelled, then suddenly quieteneing down a bit.
"I mean ... I didn't bite them. I realized what I was doing before I could do that, just alot of cuts, because I fought them to the floor"
"Hmm. Miss Moore has a point there, Severus. She didn't kill the student, nor turn the student into one of Alice's own. Which I beleieve, isn't any different." I nodded, agreeing.
"Would you like to see the student? I think visits in the hospital are still open"
"I guess, I don't they did like me anyway, so they probobly want me expelled" DUmbledore just looked at me and opened the door to let me out. Snape followed shortly after wards.
Snape began to talk to Madame Pomfrey, as she kept giving me looks, as if I was leathal. I slowly walked over to the bed where the person I'd hurt was. For some reason, Draco wasn't there, I'd thought he would be. Maybe he hasn't been told. He would be avoiding me anyway. I was being strange around him too that ngiht. Or maybe he hadn't noticed. Or maybe girls are like that to him all the time.
The student was asleep. Her hair shimmering over the pillow she was lying on. A bandage around each arm from where I had pinned her to the ground with my nails, and a large, long gash acroos her left cheek.
She slowly stirred and opened her eyes. I said the first thing I could think of.
"I'm really sorry" I said, making sure she could hear it.
"I kind of new anyway, I got that Granger girl to look it up form me. You just seemed so strange. That's why I started to not bother, and I wondered what I had done wrong when you started chasing after me, during the ball"
"I was going to get Draco, but I suddenly changed my mind, realising what I was doing"
"It's fine, Madame Pomfrey said I'll be alright in around 2 weeks" She smiled. I hadn't seen her smile since my first day, during the welcome feast.
Visits were over, and I had to leave her. Draco was outside the door, looking at me, not smiling.
I smiled slightly and carried on walking, he quiclky walked after and stopped me.
"Why didn't you tell me? I wouldn't have told anyone" He said
"I don't know, I didn't want anyone to know, I thought .. no one would like me if I wasn't human"
"I would. I still do, even if you're ot .. human" He took his time in saying human. I smiled at him and he gave me a hug, a very long one.
"No matter what you are, I still love you" He whispered in my ear.
"Really? I've never heard you say that"
"Well, there you go, now you have" He smiked as we let go of each other.
"I'm not sure if I'm getting expelled or not" I looked down at the floor again.
"You're not. Snape told me to tell you as he left. She seems fine with you and doesn't want you expelled"
"Really!?" I grabbed Draco again and embraced him in another hug.
"It's nice to kow you are happy, Alice" Draco smirkde, and kissed me on the cheek. We both started to walk back to the common room.
"So how long is Hayley in the hospital ward?" Asked Draco, looking back at her.
"Two weeks she said. Atleast she's friends with me. Maybe I'll try to bite people more often so I can make friends" Draco chuckled and kissed me on the lips this time.
"Maybe you should keep the atacking on the low for the rest of this year"
"You never know, I may not be able to control myself" I said, biting the air near Draco.
"You can bite me if you like love. I don't mind" He smirked at me. THE END! *End Music* Commment me guys!
