Post Deathly Hallows sold out in Scottish shops

The Evening News reports that some shops in Scotland sold out of copies of Deathly Hallows, leaving some children very disappointed. Specific stores include Waterstone's branch at the east end of Princes Street in Edinburgh, which was out of book 7 by 1pm on Sunday.

Quote:
"We had a little girl crying because they'd all gone," she said.

"I am not surprised they all went," she said, adding they probably could have sold close to double the number of copies they had ordered.
Other shops run out of stock include WH Smith in Waverley Station and John Lewis in the St James Centre.

Nationwide, copies of the novel were sold at a rate of 15 per second.
